Rx - RIExerciser - Home Networking Testing Tool

Rx Project Overview:

The RxProject is an effort to take the current DvrExerciser OCAP Xlet and refactor it into a frame work which provides the following:

A library of functionality which aggregates OCAP API calls into functional building blocks provided by RI Stack & PC Platform.
A scripting interface which allows automation of testing of these functional building blocks.
A "Guide" Type OCAP Xlet which is referred to as the RxExerciser which supports functional/application level testing and development through a GUI.

Finish UI implementation to demonstrate Phase 0 Proof Of Concept use case along with any additional tasks to support Phase 0 completion.

Nicolas will give an overview of RiExerciser design (see "How GUI Works" page on wiki)
Remaining work on RiExerciser and suggestions on how to get Phase 0 POC use case working by Monday, Dec 5^th.
1. Will assess Nicolas' progress on Wednesday to determine if he needs help to get the Phase 0 functionality complete. Possible help from Parthi or Steves?
Review of action items from last meeting
1. Discussed using current framework for live streaming testing. Once initial smoke test script that Parthi is working on is complete, there is additional test script development that can be done to support live streaming testing, including test scenarios identified in Scott A's spread sheet.
Phase 1 planning
1. Will have more information on amount of time required once Nicolas gets Phase 0 working. Will do Phase 1 planning after Phase 0 is complete.

Steve M. - implement support for setup option to copy bean shell scripts to RiScriplet dir, continue with OcapAppDriver development
Parthi - creation and setup of the smoke test bean shell scripts
Nicolas - get Phase 0 support in RiExerciser
Scott A - get nightly test script setup and running
